【講義概要】
This is a content-focused discussion and critical thinking course examining different areas of Japanese subcultures. The course includes a range of topics including food, music, television and film, fashion and video games. Students will examine specific examples of subcultures in each area, learning about and discussing their origins, development and influence.
【学習到達目標】
The course aims to deepen understanding of Japanese subcultures through lectures, and research-based reports. It also aims to encourage critical thinking and promote sharing of ideas and opinions among students.
【履修上の注意】
Students are encouraged to actively interact with their classmates. Students will work individually, in pairs, and small groups to complete tasks and have discussions.
Please note: the schedule and evaluation criteria are subject to change.
【事前準備学習】
Students are expected to prepare for and review the lessons by completing homework tasks. Homework will be given each week and should take a maximum of 1 hour.
