【講義概要】

The course is designed to encourage critical thinking among students, keep them engaged in extensive discussion about diverse, interesting issues. Each unit covers two sets of discussion issues, an audio clip, reading comprehension activities reinforced with writing exercise and has an online study center for more individual practice and self-tests. The volume of materials and design allow for flexibility. It is a four-skills language course and task-based ensuring each student’s progress is monitored.

This course uses English only as medium of instruction.



【学習到達目標】

1.To introduce students to relevant issues, enable them to discuss, engage by giving opinions, and develop critical thinking.
2.To exercise and enhance their speaking skills in cohesion with the three other language skills.
3.To equip students with the ability to speak confidently.



【履修上の注意】

Students must have all homework finished before class. Students are expected to arrive to class on time. For online lessons we will be using Teams. Join Teams by using this code: vkprxlr

Students must always have notebook paper and writing utensils.
