【講義概要】
In this course, students will learn about and discuss various issues that the modern world faces. Students will also learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how these relate to the issues that are studied in class. This course will include lots of pair and group work.
This course is taught entirely in English.

The goal of this course is for students to gain knowledge and confidence in their use English to explore and discuss some of the important cultural, economic, and social issues of our world.
【履修上の注意】
Students must all be prepared to speak English as much as possible in class. You will be assessed every week on your classroom participation and speaking skills.
In the event of online (non-face-to-face) classes, lessons will be conducted using a combination of software, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

This is a content-based course, which means that all homework assignments must be completed on time, as they have a strong bearing on the success of students classroom activities.
