【講義概要】

Students will continue to learn and practice English presentation skills, including all stages of preparing and presenting. Review of previously learned techniques for public speaking, such as eye contact, use of gestures and voice control, will be developed further with activities contained both in the textbook and supplementary material. Again, students will be given feedback on their presentations by the instructor and other students.

This course is taught entirely in English.

This course is intended to help students develop skills to make effective presentations by providing many opportunities to prepare and present speeches on a variety of topics.

Success in this course depends on regular attendance and active participation.



【事前準備学習】

The course continues from the first semester, with further language input and practice of skills required for making effective presentations. Supplementary material will, again, be provided to review and develop new and previously practised skills work.

Grades will be based on the completion of assignments, and evaluation of written work, speeches and class performance.
