【講義概要】

English Oral Communication 1 is a course to develop English fluency through natural conversations. Developing conversation strategies in combination with useful language expressions students will work towards having English only dialogue talking about themselves in groups with a common topic.

Students will get the opportunity to
1. Increase vocabulary.
2. Learn important phrases that will make conversation smoother and more natural.
3. Have many chances for speaking with other students in English-based environment.
4. Learn a variety of conversation strategies that will extend the length and substance of the topics being discussed.
5. Work on pronunciation.



【学習到達目標】

Students will be able to have conversations in English-only on the 15 topics, ranging from 2–4 minutes.
Use all vocabulary and phrases in a natural context.



【履修上の注意】

Students are expected to bring all class materials to each class.
Students are expected to be on time and to attend as many classes as possible.
Speak as much English as possible.
Practice and learn the vocabulary and phrases presented in each unit.



【事前準備学習】

Each class:
Computer
Notebook with pens/pencils/eraser etc.
File folder for supplement prints.
