【講義概要】
This reading course is designed to give students a large quantity of English reading practice, both inside and outside of the classroom. This will be achieved through a variety of extensive reading, with student-centred discussions and activities also being utilised to develop vocabulary and critical thinking skills.
This course is taught entirely in English.

The aims of this course are to increase students’ knowledge and confidence in their English reading ability, focusing on aspects such as vocabulary, reading assignments, and critical thinking about interesting and relevant societal topics.
【履修上の注意】
This course uses English only as medium of instruction.
Students also need to read Graded Readers for extensive reading and prepare book reports.
【事前準備学習】
Students will be expected to read assigned readings before coming to class. All homework is to be submitted at the beginning of each class period. Students will be expected to study for two hours a week for preparation and assignments.
