【講義概要】
This course will continue to develop effective English oral communication competency and speaking fluency. Through various student-centered activities and meaningful contexts, students will gain confidence to use language communicatively. Students play an active role to what is learned and how it is learned. In the student-centered speaking class, students do the talking in small groups or pair work offering opinions, explanations as well as sharing viewpoints and experiences. Students will gain insights into various topics and world cultures through an array of interesting and provocative topics explored to promote critical thinking and lively discussions.

Note: This course uses English only as medium of instruction.

It is important to try to use English spontaneously, as it will make for improved fluency.
【事前準備学習】
Students will be expected to use English whenever possible. All homework is to be submitted at the beginning of each class period. Students will be expected to study for two hours a week for preparation, conversations, and presentations.
