【講義概要】
This course introduces students to basic testing concepts and procedures. This is a content course, students will learn about the subject using their English language skills. Students will design, develop and evaluate a language test. This course will be especially interesting for students who are considering becoming teachers after graduation. It is practical, so students will listen to short lectures, read source material for homework, discuss problems and solutions, give opinions, give presentations and work in groups to prepare test material.
This course meets these DP criteria: Ability to think about a problem and solve it (2) and express one's own opinion logically in an academic forum (3)
This course meets these CP criteria: Evaluation of learning (1), students are assessed continuously on critical thinking, research methods
The course is taught in English

By the end of this course students will: -
1 – have experience in the design of an MCQ reading test
2 – know how to evaluate the reliability of the test questions
【履修上の注意】
It is very important to attend all classes as you will have to get the homework readings at the end of class to prepare for the next week.

You will be expected to prepare for many classes. The teacher will instruct you on what to do at the end of each class.
