【講義概要】
Building on the basic skills acquired in the lower level reading and debating class, students will develop intermediate skills for various reading and discussion activities, as well as strategies for developing effective and accurate reading and debating skills in wider communicative situations (such as discussing and debating what they read). Through various activities, students will learn how to read and think and then discuss various topics of interest to college students.

By the end of the course, students will be able to read and discuss a variety of topics, and will, for example, be able to read and understand descriptions of events, expressions of ideas in short essays and other written contexts, and then be able to discuss and debate about what they have read.
