【講義概要】
This course will develop effective English oral communication competency and speaking fluency. Through various student-centered activities and meaningful contexts, students will gain confidence to use language communicatively. Students play an active role to what is learned and how it is learned. In the student-centered speaking class, students do the talking in small groups or pair work offering opinions, explanations as well as sharing viewpoints and experiences. Students will gain insights into various topics and world cultures through an array of interesting and provocative topics explored to promote critical thinking and lively discussions.

By the end of the course, students will be able to have simple and interesting conversations with confidence.
【履修上の注意】
In order to do this vourse, the students will need to bring a textbook, notebook and relevant study materials to the course including ,of course ,a dictionary. There will be homework and preparation for the classes. The class is a speaking class and the students will be expected to speak and practice there English to the greatest possible extent
【事前準備学習】
Students will use questions on different topics to have simple conversations with each other. At the start of the course, I will give them the questions and the topics but latterly they will supply topics and questions themselves. They will need to prepare answers for their questions for homework.

Class Discussion: ６0%； Speaking Quiz ３０%; Final Speaking Quiz: 10%
